Now, this would have been a more significant feat, had Hargreeves revealed this camp to the public. He had not. Instead, forty-three private invitations were sent around the world to a summer camp for children who had shown signs of ‘incredible potential’ as stated in the letter.
Each invitation informed the parents of an opportunity for their child to have an above average education every summer until they were seventeen, complete with fully paid expenses and plane tickets. Thirteen accepted.
Thus began the first summer of what would then be known as The Umbrella Camp for Gifted Children, on the twenty-fifth of June in the year 1998.

Solely based on one cute thought i had of child Sloane using her powers to sit on child Marcus’ shoulders (since he has strength) and then Five popping up on her shoulders to create a triple tower(Did y’all know my birthday is june 25th- that date is mentioned and it was unintentional but i think that’s cool idk)
