    Summary

Wei Ying has a lot on his plate right now.

It’s finals week -- which isn’t so bad. He’s never had to study much to do well in classes. But that just means that things are that much more tense with Jiang Cheng, who, as far as Wei Ying can tell, only takes study breaks long enough to glare at Wei Ying where he sits on the couch playing video games.

It’s not studies that have Wei Ying stressed out. It’s everything else. It’s the recruitment for the research trial he’s coordinating. It’s jiejie and her impending marriage to His Royal Douchebag Jin Zixuan. It’s the volunteer work at the palliative care facility. It’s Wen Ning’s worsening condition. It’s Wen Qing working herself thin to care for her brother and Wen Yuan. It’s the way Wen Yuan never seems to have enough food.

So, yeah. There’s enough on Wei Ying’s plate already, meaning it’s not entirely welcome when he comes home and finds a man standing in his bedroom. A man in extravagant white robes, a ribbon tied around his forehead, long hair gathered into a topknot, fist clutching a sword at his side, who asks him, “Where am I?”

It was a goddam struggle to peel back his eyelids.

The moment he was able to, Wei Ying cursed the day he was given eyes.

What the fuck was with all this white? It screams obsessive cleanliness!

So spotless, the pope could make snow angels on the sanitized ground and his ‘pure as the driven snow’ robes would come out cleaner.

Utterly stainless, a dedicated housewife could walk in here, broom and dustpan ready, only to shrug her shoulders and say: “Well, I’ve got nothing to do now. Time to kick back my feet!”

Incredibly clean to the point that if you asked a germaphobe to lick the floor, they’d shrug their shoulders and ask “Where would you like me to start?”

He was in hell OR this was Lan Qiren’s panic room.

    Either way: Let. Him. Out!!!!

What’s that…? These two hotties are his caregivers…??

    Nevermind then~

The very concept of a soulmate had always left Hong’er with an odd blend of nervous excitement and trepidation.

In a way, this was something that he could call his own. It was unlike the food or money he would steal and therefore can never truly be his. He didn’t have to fight off other street urchins to keep it in his possession or guard it on his person at all times. The thought of a Fated One always left Hong’er with warmth blooming in his belly that not even the coldest of nights could chase away.

But....his birthdays keep passing by and there were no signs.

Even the lowest of the low-class have soulmates, so why doesn't he...?

(or the one AU where I decided to write Huaxian as soulmates using a mish-mash of two soulmate AUs. Enjoy! :)

    Summary

A modern OC arrives in Yiling before the start of the Sunshot Campaign. She has no friends, no money, and no cultivation. She knows what's coming, but what could she possibly do about it?
    ***
“Well…” I looked down at my fingernails and tried not to squirm. “If there were a way to separate Wei Wuxian from Madam Yu without ruining his relationship with his siblings, I’d encourage it. Like, as an example, marriage.”

    Xichen blinked. “To you?”

“No. Absolutely not. What even—?” The thought was so abhorrent I couldn’t hold it in my head. My brain spat it right back out. “To your brother.”

    Xichen blinked. Again. “To Wangji?”

    “Obviously?”

“This is a concern of yours?”

“I realize it’s not my business at all,” I admitted. “But you asked.”

    Summary

The one where Yu Ziyuan time traveled but she thought that it was her visions of her alternate life.

She learned that there is a brat named Wei Ying who brought destruction to her and her family's life.

And so in her present, she vowed that she will never allow that to happen.

In which Yu Ziyuan found the four-year-old Wei Ying, newly pushed out of the inn where his parents left him, and decided that no, this child must never be associated with her, her family, and their sect at all.

And so Yu Ziyuan thought that she could bring him somewhere where someone may or may not find him but definitely far from where her husband could find him. If he's lucky, he'll survive that winter, if he's not, then death awaits the fevered child.

This is the extent of mercy that Yu Ziyuan could give a child.

With this, she'll raise her children without having to deal with a brat that brings trouble where he goes according to her visions of her alternate life.

Like the tag stated, this is definitely not Yu Ziyuan centric.
