A continuation of the life and times of Thraken Dericote and the Galaxy in which he finds himself. Watch as he continues to lose himself to fighting in a war where decisive actions become more and more necessary and where mistakes could cost the lives of untold billions. The risks have never been greater as a war of shadows and a war of ships and men bring greater and greater clashes. Will the many Rebellions and Insurrections against the Empire succeed, or will their internal squabbling give the Galactic Empire the opportunity to extinguish the final embers of Republic and Confederacy both. Only time will tell.
This fic is the sequel to "A Life at War: Twilight". It is not necessary to have read Twilight to understand what is happening here, though of course I recommend it anyway.

Summary
Junior Jedi Archivist Jocasta Nu has always had a fascination with Mandalorian culture and became holonet penpals at a young age with an open-minded Mandalorian bounty hunter called “Jas” who was curious about the jedi and willing to chat. As the years passed they become close friends, the two of them sharing culture and Jocasta helping to translate Jas’s writing—but even after over a decade they only knew each other through the holonet, never seeing each other’s faces, never meeting in person.
This all changes when Jocasta Nu is promoted to Head Archivist and finds a repository of beskar’gam in the jedi archives, stolen in war over a thousand years ago and never repatriated. Jocasta knows that she can’t let the injustice to the Mandalorians stand and reaches out to her penpal to arrange a way to return the armor.
But, as tensions in Mandalorian space rise and Jocasta and Jaster come face to face for the first time, Jocasta is forced to ask herself how well she truly knows Jaster and—more importantly—if she truly understands just how impactful the consequences of her actions might be.

Mand'alor the Reluctant, a moniker given to him by those who have the birthright for the title of Mand'alor. Bo-Katan of House Kryze has given it to Din to spite him for his inaction towards retaking their homeland. Boba Fett of Clan Vhett, given to him in jest during a celebration between Din, Boba, and Fennec. But to Din, it was a reminder of doing better for his weird green child.
The Reformer, a title once held by Jaster Mereel whose rule was cut too short by an extremist. In his short reign, he was close to uniting Madalore under one leadership.
Through the machinations of the force, both leaders of different times meet. Some say the force wanted to give their people the chance to make some changes. Din thinks the force was bored.
