Robby hasn’t felt so obvious and awkward since he sprang up five inches freshman year of high school. Here he stands in the middle of the doorway, bearing several tell-tales of a life upside down. He’s wide awake at 2 AM. He’s scruffy headed, and stuck wearing sweat pants a size too big for the weight he’s lost in recovery. Just the weight of his phone in his pocket would be enough to drag them down over his bruised and battered hip bones if he didn’t knot them up mercilessly. Robby stinks of Wet Ones and rinse-free shampoo. And to top it all off, he’s become completely, heart wringingly, affectionately incontinent.

He tries pushing the button again, several times, only for the machine to continually beep the ‘error’ sound. His anger spikes with each second, until it fully explodes with the tenth error beep.
“Useless piece of shit!” he growls, harshly kicking the machine until it shakes, but the can is still stuck, pressed against the glass.
“Hey!” a youthful male voice suddenly calls out behind him. Megumi, already at the peak of his rage, turns around sharply with a deadly glare.
“What?! Who the hell are-”
When Megumi fully turns to see the unwelcome guest, he stops.
In front of him is a boy around his age, slightly shorter, wearing an all-black school uniform over a white hoodie. But his most striking feature is his short, spiky, light pink hair with a black undercut, and his wide, light brown eyes that appear almost sparkling underneath the evening glow.
And yet, even after seeing Megumi’s thunderous face, the boy’s upbeat expression doesn’t change one bit as he casually approaches Megumi.

Super fucked.
Because standing in the very not-destroyed, dense streets of Shibuya, lined with the bright colors of department stores, hotels, tourist attractions, and advertisements plastered across every available space, Yuuji did not have Choso as support. He didn't have Fushiguro as support. He didn't even have Okkotsu as support.
Yuuji was inconceivably, utmostly, wholly, not-awesomely fucked because he was in the year 2005.
🔴 OR: Stuck over a decade in the past, Yuuji has resolved to do anything to ensure his future doesn't come to be.
It would really be a lot easier if Geto Suguru wasn't so overbearing, if Gojo Satoru wasn't such an asshole, if Ieiri Shoko stopped instigating things, and if Yuuji were just a tiny bit smarter.
But he was on his own, so damn it if he wasn't going to work with what he got.
