Summary

“You’re too harsh on yourself,” He reassures, oblivious to Anaxagoras’ real problem. “I have a friend who falls over every warp jump, regardless of how much practice she gets.” Something in his expression softens at the mention of this friend.
Still, Anaxagoras lifts his chin, defensive. “I am a scholar, and a fast learner. I ought to have picked it up after the first time.” My body is falling apart, is what he doesn’t say. Every second that passes I get weaker and weaker and soon enough there won’t be anything meaningful of me left.or: Anaxagoras tries to distract himself from his inevitable fate by doing some research on/ dating Dan Heng. The research is not particularly successful. The date, on the other hand? pretty well.

Summary
Walking on a tightrope, luck was Sakura’s only saving grace. Sometimes he was lucky enough to be left alone. Sometimes he wasn’t. When luck wasn’t on his side, his fists and kicks were his only friends. He punched and kicked and punched as many times as he could, as heavy as he could, hoping to one day be so strong that no one would be able to deny him.
Then, by some strikes of luck and coincidence, someone stepped in. An adult in a suit, holding tonfas on both his arm and cold eyes sharp like a knife. From one glance alone, Sakura already know this man was strong. A monster wearing human’s skin.
That man then proceeded to lock his eyes with him, lips curled into a smirk mixed with a foreign emotion Sakura never saw.
With one single sentence, his life was forever changed.
