Summary
This fic is based on my headcanon that if Aka Akasaka had more knowledge of heavy music, Yu Ishigami would be a slacker metalhead with a soft heart, and that he could eventually take to being a vocalist. He's surprisingly poetic and thinks deeply, and his knowledge of the Japanese Language of Flowers puts a unique spin on the themes of his lyrics. All lyrics that will appear in this fic are written by me personally! Writing lyrics from the perspective of a character is a very fun writing exercise. This is my very first fic, and I've poured a lot of love of metal into this, as well as my love of these two characters and their ship. Updates will be when they come.

“...It doesn’t look edible,” Tokiyuki mutters, shaking his head. “Surely it’s not?”
Yorishige doesn’t say a word. In his left hand, he holds four sticks. At least, that’s what they look like, but Tokiyuki can’t quite tell. He reaches out to take one, stares at it, waits for it to reveal what it really is. His eyes flit between the stick and the priest’s stupid smile– something’s fishy here.
“These,” Yorishige starts, placing his hand on the small of the young lord’s back as he gently, subtly guides him into a small storeroom, “are what they’ll call Pocky, in the future. The actual ingredients used to make them are not yet available, so I had to make do with what we have, but I’m sure they’ll taste just as good!”
- Yorishige invents the pocky game in 1333.
