And for what? Shelby had never hurt a single human, had never tasted a drop of human blood. And they still hated them!
Humans only saw what they wanted to. What they didn’t want to see was a kind “monster.” So… Sure, Shelby could be a monster, if that’s really what they wanted of her…. People were fascinating stories, in any case.
