Geralt hesitates. He’s seen the kind of shit the law of surprise can conjure up for people. He really doesn’t want to risk it, but at the same time…he really needs the money. He sighs. “Fine. I will accept the law of surprise and return in a month.”
“Excellent. The reports should come in some time around--”
“My Lord!” From the front doors of the manor, a servant is running towards them looking panicked. “It’s Master Julian!” She stops as she reaches them, panting. It looks as though she’d run all the way here.
“What happened, Agnes?” The Earl demands. “Is my son alright?”
Agnes shakes her head. “He’s presented, my Lord. As an Omega. He’s going into pre-heat!”
The Earl’s head snaps in Geralt’s direction, his eyes wide, no doubt connecting the dots the same time that Geralt does.
“Fuck.”

“You’re telling me your best friend, who has known you longer than I have, doesn’t know but I do?” Yennefer raised her sudden cold voice, her face staying expressionless as her anger boomed.
Wincing, Geralt looked down at his hands resting in his lap as he sat on the couch, Yennefer pacing in front of the TV.
She sighed softly, her eyes showing clear sympathy for him as she calmed down. Yennefer leaned down in front of Geralt, a strong hand on his knee to pull his eyes towards her. “What are you going to do once he finds out?”
Regardless of the question being asked tenderly, Geralt flinched violently at the thought of Jaskier figuring out his secret – and then leaving you, the beast that you are, his mind shared his own input. With his jaw tensed, he growled out, “He won’t find out.”

This leads to a long overdue conversation between the men about what they truly want from each other. Oh, and "why the fuck does this elf think I'm some sort of witcher pet" - Jaskier.Lots of fluff and innuendos and eventual smut.

Summary
