Summary
Settled into the bed, Neil keeps his lips against Andrew and tries to doze off. Andrew is breathing faster, and Neil can feel his lungs expand and contract. He shifts up to place a palm over Andrew’s heart and finds it beating ever so slightly harder than usual.
If Neil focuses enough, he can picture Andrew’s blood running in his veins. Neil has never been jealous of an artery before. Pumping life through every inch of Andrew’s body, every corner inside and out. Filling up his heart and face. Leaving evidence of his presence behind in the slightest press against skin. Giving power to every move he makes. Rising to the surface with hard bites and sucks.
Andrew sighs.
He flings Neil’s arm off and whips back around. Andrew rises and looms over until Neil is pinned to the bed, hips trapped by his straddle.
“Yes or no?” Andrew says, clearly displeased at himself.
———
AKA: Late-night grinding morphs into spontaneous blowjob morphs into spontaneous sex. Neil doesn’t stay quiet, Andrew doesn’t stay gentle, they don’t act normal about each other.

Summary
when you meet someone beautiful at the bar and it's too good to be true; or, how blind horniness and two simultaneous lies of omission put you in bed with your old rival.

Bookmarker's Notes
Al was everything Aaron wanted. His imperfections– a padded, soft stomach, pale thighs, drunken laugh, large nose and hands– made him all the more enticing. Most of Aaron’s male conquests required some kind of position negotiation, which could, in and of itself, be fun, if not a bit clinical. But Al seemed to know exactly what he wanted.

Summary
A beat. “You… prayed for me?”
“Must’ve been an accident. Now’s not really a good time, Cas,” Dean strains out. He doesn’t dare let his eyes stray from where they’re locked on the kitchenette table in front of him, like if he can’t see Cas then Cas can’t see him. “Sometimes a man needs his privacy.”
“Is that what you yearn for, Dean? Privacy?”
He gulps down the sinking, sinking feeling that he has been caught with no way out. It’s not the first time in his life that he’s been trapped in a half-truth, and he bears this with as much grace as he ever has in situations like it. Jaw clenched. Ungraceful. “I’m not sure what you’re getting at.”
Cas’s voice is all unflinching divinity from a creature that watched the Library of Alexandria burn. “I feel your longing.”

Bookmarker's Notes
“Dogs just think about food a lot.”
Dean pouts in consideration, and just then his stomach rumbles again as a waitress walks by with a tray of plates loaded with hamburgers and french fries that end up being for a different table. Hungry. His thoughts slide to the way Cas’s throat is framed by the white collar of his dress shirt. “Guess we have that in common.”
This was so poetic and beautifully written. I aspire to be a writer like this one day

Summary
“What you do is good,” because Dean’s not so great in the words department. It doesn’t seem to matter, Cas looks touched by the sentiment either way. “And what you did- too. I mean, what you said, did you really…Ya know. Carry my burning soul?”
“You don’t remember?” Cas seems genuinely surprised. As surprised as he can, at least, with that perpetually bird-like way he has about him.
“What, you yanking me out? Nah. There’s nothing there.”
“Yes, I carried you out of Hell.”
“My burning soul.”
“Yes.”
“What was- What was that like?”

“Dean wonders if he is anyone to anyone else without being drowned out by the weight of shadows they project on to him like he is nothing but a blank wall in a prison cell.“
OH. MY GOD. HOLY. DESTIEL. WHA
