He got a sick sort of relief in going back to the beach in California where he buried his mother.
He knew it was dangerous, he had to move on, but how could he without her?

The man sitting across from him is an exact copy of the doctor he just saw a few minutes ago. Neil is only sure they aren’t the same person because his hair is longer, the strands more disheveled, the lack of ornate equipment around his neck helps distinguish him, and because he also swears he just heard the pediatrician in one of the other rooms still listening to his patient’s stories.
