Summary
The big tacky “27” candle on the birthday cake flickered and for a split second she saw the explosion that had wiped out Krypton in the orange glow of the low flame, a sharp breath of fear was quickly covered up by her blowing out the candle.
Only one thought echoed through her mind as the light was extinguished:
I’ve been on Earth longer than I was on Krypton.or
On the day of her 27th Earth birthday, after a day of celebrations, Kara goes to the park and meets an adorable dog, his owner? Lillian Luthor.
Their lives slowly but surely intertwine and if it so happens that Lillian's daughter is single and so is Kara? Well, it wouldn't hurt anything if Lillian gently nudged things into motion for the two of them.- Language:

Summary
Emily Prentiss has been hiding the fact that she has a daughter from the entire BAU team for three years. At work, she is Agent Prentiss; unshakeable, professional, giving nothing away. At home, she is Mom to Frankie, seven years old and her whole world, with a nanny stepping in on cases that Emily hates being away for.
Jennifer's marriage to Will ends quietly, worn down by distance and arguments that stopped meaning anything. It was Will himself who finally named it, asking why she seemed so distant, and in doing so, forcing her to admit something she had been avoiding for a long time.
With the divorce finalised, Jennifer calls Emily one night. Then the next. Then every night after that, warm late calls that become the best part of her day. When she hears voices and movement in the background, she assumes Emily has a secret girlfriend; someone she's hiding, the reason she never comes to team dinners or girls' nights.
When Emily tells her the truth, that she has a daughter, that she has been raising her alone for years, that the two halves of her life have simply never been allowed to meet, Jennifer is stunned. Then the awe settles in, quiet and certain, and doesn't leave.
