Another silence fell and Jeongguk saw the man’s smile deepen, eyes dancing. “It’s often polite to ask for the other person’s name as well.”

Summary
"We want you here— you and Chan— you can feel it too, right? How— how right you fit into our lives— like you were always meant to be here— right between us.”
Jeonghan wanted to stay. He desperately wanted to stay. He wanted to tell them everything— everything Daeho ever did to him, to Chan, what Chan was— but he couldn’t risk Chan’s life for the chance at happiness. Even if they accepted Chan as a human, on the very rare chance that could actually happen, they would never be able to accept him as one of them.
He would always be the outsider, always be the weak link, and Jeonghan would never let anyone treat Chan like he was less just because he was different.
“Maybe in another life,” he replied, voice nothing more than a whisper. “But in this life, Chan and I will leave when it’s safe to travel.”
OR
Chan stumbles into the second nicest wolf after his appa one day in the woods who offers them shelter from the storm. They stay longer than either of them ever expected and find more than they thought possible with a pack that shouldn't want anything to do with them.

Summary
“Clearly, our pup was keeping him alive for a reason and I’d like to find out why before we abandon it to the elements.”
“I can kill it,” Jin offered, snatching the satchel angrily. “Put it out of its misery.”
The boy whimpered, pressing his face against Hoseok’s chest desperately. He brought his hand up to rub soothingly over the boy’s head from on top of the furs, hushing his terrified noises. “What’s this one done to you?” he asked, still shielding the human’s body with his own. “It’s just a pup— it’s harmless.”
Jin snorted, turning his back towards his packmate as he made his way back into their den. “No human is harmless. They’re all monsters.”
OR

Summary
“If anyone finds out we’re harboring a human...” Hoseok started wearily, still standing in the doorway.
“We’ll deal with it— as a family,” Namjoon finished. “We never abandoned you, even after the Atherians discovered that you were still alive.”
Hoseok shook his head, finally stepping closer to the rest of the crew. “I didn’t mean it like that,” he started. “It’s just— he’s not a traitor. That’s... an endangered species— he might even be the last of his kind— and my people want him dead. And I, more than anyone, know just how ruthless Atherians can be.”
OR
Yoongi lost everything but maybe the B.T.S. has something on board worth living for.

Summary
“It’s illegal to hunt animals,” Seonghwa explained softly, eyes flicking over to where Hongjoong was now glaring distastefully at their cottage as a whole. “We get allotted rations from the city on a weekly basis.”
“You aren’t allowed to hunt?” Mingi asked. “Like— at all? What if something happens to your blood supply?”
Yeosang shrugged. “We starve,” he deadpanned.
“Vampires are ruthless, bloodthirsty monsters,” Hongjoong bit out. “The only way they’re allowed to hunt is if they’re a part of a pack because they need to be kept in check. I can’t imagine what sort of delusional pack would want the burden of bloodsuckers though.”
OR
Seonghwa will do anything to keep his fledglings safe. Anything. Hongjoong's top priority has always been and will always be the safety and well-being of his packmates.
They learn they're not as dissimilar as they once believed themselves to be. And they could perhaps be more if they allow themselves to trust one another.
