Neil has died more times than he can reasonably count. No matter how much he resisted, he would always be returned to the void eventually. The void, as Neil called it, was a dark and empty place, and Neil had spent more time there than in any of his lives. With no family left and hardly any time to start a life of his own, he never bothered to think of a solution to his cycle of deaths.
