Gabriel splutters, “We do NOT–”
Abruptly, Judgment summons a vision. Gabriel stares at his own corpse in stunned silence. Where they had fallen in battle, they truly look as if they had crawled into each other’s skin. Angel and machine, utterly entwined. It is impossible to distinguish where one of them ends and the other begins.
“Ah…” Gabriel struggles to find the words to argue. “Well… That’s– um.”

A reputation so pure and so impactful in such a broken world that it granted you your body from Earth, but without the pain and scars from a war that lasted too long, and with a new set of wings.
