He drops his bag onto the small desk at the front of the room, mumbling an hello as he digs out his lecture notes, then turns to look out at the students that fill up the auditorium.
His eyes land on one seat in particular, front row centre.
His brows pinch, mouth hanging open on an unasked question, before the silence of the room settles over him and he realizes everyone is waiting for him to start. Everyone including Blair.

It’s been nearly 27 years since Eva Stratt forced Ryland Grace to board the Hail Mary and sent him off to his death for the greater good of mankind. Eva Stratt has never been a woman who hesitates.
She’s made countless decisions after decisions throughout her life, often regardless of the consequences that may result. She’s not an idiot. She’s well aware that there will be consequences, and she’s equally sure that the consequences will be of little concern. The end justifies the means — her actions will be judged, but at least they will have happened.
But here, alone in a Russian conference room, for once in her life Eva Stratt does not know what to do.
