It didn’t take long for their destination to come into view and not long for Pit to immediately understand why Lady Palutena was so worried about this invasion.
“Oh no…” His words caught in his throat, painfully. “Oh no, no, no, no- Lady Palutena, this is…”
“I know, Pit. This is why I told you it was urgent.” Her voice was tight with stress and despair, and it only strengthened Pit’s resolve to do something about it despite the fear and unease that boiled in his chest.
“Should we call for back up? Bring some Centurions or even ask Viridi for some aid? This is...”
“I know. It’s a lot. I’m sorry, Pit. I didn’t realize it’d gotten this bad. I’ve already sent for some Centurions and they should be there in an hour or so. I’ll try and send a bigger force as soon as I can get them around. I’m trying to get a hold of Viridi in the mean time to see who she can send, immediately. Just try and hold out until they get there. Just do what you can.”
