Reminder of overall plot: Harry is Hufflepuff, is friends with Newt Scamander, was adopted by Kingsley Shacklebolt and Celestina Warbeck in 3rd year, and his Master of Death status lets the ghosts obey him. Twins and Draco know Harry is unusual, do not know he's from future. Sirius & Remus both on the run. Dumbledore thinks Neville is part if prophecy because of Harry keeping his head down.

The words are enough to send a chill down his spine. But all he can do is stare into Eito's eyes, his breathing getting more rapid as fear takes hold of his heart.
Since he had been offered as a prize over and over, Takumi had gotten used to being objectified. Had convinced himself it was his duty as the leader to stomach it. But there was always a sense of being able to escape. An imagined measure of control that he could fall back on. He could pretend he was letting it happen. That he could turn and run away. That it had been a sort of noble sacrifice. His dignity. His shame. His ability to enjoy his friends as friends. All for the chance for them to all survive.
