One night, after her hundredth replay of the game, Sara wakes up to find herself in Clementine's treehouse, with a man pounding on a sliding glass door...
(I cried again at Season 1 of TWDG, and couldn't find a fix-it fic. This is a self-indulgent, save everyone route because fuck it, Lee should have lived.)

Summary
When Alex awoke in a random apartment building in St. Louis Missouri in a completely different body in a fictional universe he just wanted to lay low, help people, get rich, and survive. Not necessarily in that order.
He didn't expect to join the Seven earlier than the canon version of himself did and have himself be latched on to by Homelander of all people simply because he treated him normally and without fear. (Dying once already makes death old hat)
And now he is embroiled in a cold war and tug of war over Homelander with a Nazi and finding himself embedded deeper into Vought each day. Laying low failed successfully he guessed.
