Summary
In 2010s Yeongdeungpo, Go Hyuntak's routine consisted of punk rock, skateboarding, and cheap wine. A tough facade that crumbles with the arrival of Geum Seongje, an arrogant delinquent who loves pushing his limits. Summary
Hyuntak and Seongje are not in a relationship. They've never been in one, they're both sure of this fact that they will never be in one, not with each other.
They're just… using each other.
They are two people who stand on opposing lines. They get into fights, they throw curses, insults, punches, and kicks. And somewhere along the lines, they also started kissing. Then the kissing turns into something more.
It's not a big deal.
They're sexually compatible and romantically incompatible. They both know that, and they both like it like that. This no-strings-attached thing that they have going on, something that's bound to fizzle out at some point.
That is why Hyuntak feels nothing but panic and disbelief as he sits on Seongje's bed across from Seongje with a pregnancy test lying in between them.

Summary
The spheres appear on a chilly winter morning. Or at least, that's when the country notices them. Hyuntak opens his windows one morning and is greeted by floating purple balls in the sky.
The first few days are a mess. There is a buzz in the air as everyone talks about them, makes up conspiracies, builds new religions and cults around them or against them.
And after a few months, everyone gets accustomed to living with this new development. Not many people care; they don't have the time to. The adults are busy earning money while the kids are busy with school. The spheres don't concern them.
