Summary
Aelita Kenshin never had much of a say in her own life. For as long as she could remember, every major decision was made for her from how to act, who to be and who to marry. For years she played the part of the good noble knowing she had the two people who meant the most to her; her father, General to the Fire Lord's War Council, and her best friend, the crowned Prince of the Fire Nation.
Her whole world came crashing down the day her father was accused of treason and the life planned for her was tossed aside. Forced to serve a family that took so much from her, Aelita keeps her head down and tries her best to survive one day at a time. In hushed tones and secret meetings, she and the Prince take solace in each other, promising to face anything thrown their way together. When Zuko is banished and sent on a hunt for a dead man Aelita is happy to follow. No one ever expected them to find the Avatar alive and well.

After taking a gap year and just before starting Blackwell College in Arcadia bay, all Kate Marsh wanted to do was get her book published. When the opportunity to meet with a publisher at a conference came up she couldn't say no. Unfortunately for Kate the man was a jerk--upside for Kate, a beautiful stranger calling themselves Sheila comes in to put the jerk in her place. After Sheila gives Kate's work an actual review, Kate does something unexpected, she asks Sheila if they could meet up for coffee. To see if she could help. review the rest of her manuscript, obviously. The fact that that Sheila was an entrancing enigma that made her heart race was relevant, because obviously she wasn't attracted to Sheila. That would be sin....Yeah...just to review her manuscript.
