Summary
In modern Thedas, Rook is a black sheep of the politically-minded de Riva family. A laid-back, granola tree-hugger, they've left Antiva and are running an organic fair trade tea company that has just been accepted into Starkhaven's popular Saturday farmer's market. They're there to grow their business and escape their father's financial control, but they get distracted by the handsome, charming man who runs the coffee cart across the way.
What starts as a simple, beverage-enabled flirtation becomes complicated by family drama, past secrets, and, of course, Illario. Can Rook and Lucanis overcome the obstacles in front of them and wrest happiness from the jaws of their problematic families?

An Orlesian Templar hears the rumor that the First Talon of the Antivan Crows is an abomination. Since the Antivan Templar Order doesn't appear to be doing anything about it, he takes matters into his own hands. This is not a wise thing to do.
Spite is used to being a protector for his beloved spouses, Meruka and Lucanis. So what happens when he's the one who needs protecting?
Apparently, it involves a great deal of blood.

Summary
"We will stop them," Rook said, the bald-faced lie of confidence bolstering them. "Or we'll go down trying. But I'd prefer to stop them, wouldn't you?"
"I would. I will. Don't worry, Rook. You can count on me."
Rook's eyes softened. "I know I can. We've got this. Try to get some sleep?"
"Indeed," Emmrich echoed. "We must all be at our best if we are to successfully brave Minrathous tomorrow, and you deserve a good rest."
Their kindness was too much. He merely nodded obediently. They bade him good night and walked toward the main building together, Rook's head leaning on Emmrich's shoulder.
It was good that they had each other. Lucanis did his best not to be jealous. All he had was Spite, and, though they had come to a more of an accord, Spite was not what he needed right now.
With a frustrated groan, Lucanis pushed himself up off the steps. Before he knew it, his feet had taken him to the eluvian room, through the Crossroads, and out through the mirror that led to the Cantori Diamond.

Summary
"We need to do something about Catarina," he said after the servants had cleared their breakfast and left them alone in the dining room. "Her paranoia is getting out of hand."
Teia daintily wiped the corners of her mouth with a napkin, sighed, and shook her head at him. "I know, I know. I feel so bad for her. You know how hard Illario's betrayal hit her. She doesn't trust anyone but Lucanis anymore."
"Not even you?"
"I've returned two of her spies to her so far."
"Alive? That's not like you."
"It's the least I can do to repay her for her kindness over the years. It isn't as though they learned anything of use."
Viago smiled. Of course they hadn't. His Teia was as clever as he was; it was a major reason they'd never been able to quit one another.
"You remain the only person I've met who has ever called Catarina Dellamorte's attentions a kindness," he commented. "So if she is doubting even your loyalty? She is a liability to us all. She's undermining Lucanis' leadership, and the Catarina I've always known should know that. It's very concerning that she doesn't."
