Summary
No one would assume that the world’s only consulting detective ever felt affection towards another human being. No one can even imagine what he’s like without his cold heart and demeanor. But everyone always wondered why he is the way he is. That question will always cross one's mind.
Someone from his past comes back, and the person opens another area in his mind palace that he desperately tried to suppress and remove, but never could.
So, what really is the reason why he’s the way he is? What made him like this?
[TL;DR: Sherlock met a girl during Uni. They meet again eight years later. Wounds reopen.]

Summary
One bleeds, and cries, and dies, until the heavy echo of the container opens and sunlight floods in. Their heart is a chilling staccato in their chest, buzzing and swelling in their throat - until rough, hardened hands and squinty eyes arrive to hold their pieces together.
They can't sleep - never could, even Before - but sometimes they close their eyes and heat blooms at their side, and they know he's come to rest, too.
or
Someone broken and grieving and so, so alone learns what it means to be whole again. Their sorrow scorches their tear ducts and splinters the streets below, but that's okay. It is - because sweet, honeyed hands are a balm on their rosy cheeks, their bubbled scars. Their torment is wiped away until all they feel are soft, sunny fingers and pillowed palms. They think this must be love. It swells in their chest and clogs in their throat, and they cry again - because they think this feels like home.
A fic about healing and found family, featuring a very sweet and genuine slow burn -all through the eyes of my incredibly fleshed out OC. Slow and steady heals the heart and soothes the soul, as they say.
EDIT 1/7/24: Fixing up chapters 2-5, so they may not flow the best atm.

Summary
November 1983. Between unpaid bills, the supposedly straight jock he’s seeing, and letters from his convict dad, seventeen year old Eddie Munson’s got enough to worry about. But when Will Byers goes missing, it sparks a chain of events that will show there are more depths to Hawkins — and to certain people in it, like infamous Steve ‘The Hair’ Harrington — than he realizes.
/ or, the excessively long slow-burn in which Eddie is involved in the Upside Down from the very beginning.

Summary
Taken at the height of her life. Molded by Hydra, forged into a weapon, and stripped of a past too painful to remember, the only thing Caterina's ever known is survival. But when a chance at freedom forces her to escape into a world she barely recognizes, the question becomes: Who is she now that she’s free?
Haunted by fragmented memories and relentless trauma, she finds herself drifting in the aftermath—neither villain nor hero, just broken and lost. She drifts between identities, between violence and silence, between survival and self-destruction. As she navigates the shadows of her own mind, hunted by ghosts of her past and forces who see her as a threat, she must decide if the person Hydra created is all she’ll ever be… or if she can become something more. Then there’s James Barnes—a man with his own ghosts, who sees in her everything he’s trying to forget. Their bond is tangled, aching, and uncertain.
Set against a world that doesn't know what to make of her, and a shadow of a man who knows too much and yet not enough. This fic is about unlearning everything she was forced to become, learning to trust what’s broken, or becoming exactly what they always said she was...
A weapon.
