Hannibal doesn't respond, simply stares at him for a moment and tilts his head, angling for eye-contact.
"I see why you were a model." Will freezes, heat beating at his ears when he hears it. The comment sounds as if it's spoken in jest but he can't tell. He was never the best when it came to tone.
"Because models smoke?"
He doesn't answer, instead slowly pressing the cigarette in between his own plush lips, staring into the depths of Will's eyes all the while. Will doesn't know if he wants to fuck the guy or simply stare at his lips and see what happens. The idea of licking down his neck, putting a cigarette out on his tongue- Jesus, he has fucking problems. Hannibal, meanwhile, remains the perfect gentleman, stepping away and not blowing smoke in Will's direction.

Summary
Nick Wilde made it as clear as he could that he did not want them involved in what that snake was talking about! Other plans in mind, his partner Judy continued to drag them further along the case. Eventually, things drag Nick along so far, that he quite literally falls over the edge, free falling to his death.
Nick is dead and gone; Judy has to keep reminding herself that. Dealing with her own guilt, she has no other choice but to move on since that fateful day. Days turn into weeks, weeks into months. Slowly she learns to "accept" the new normal. A new sidekick is given to her, along with a surprising case the new pair stumble into: The murder of an arctic fox. Maybe finding this killer can fix things, and avenge Nick in a sense.
But what happens when a strange, yet oddly very familiar fox appears. He knows nothing of Nick, yet he himself reminds the rabbit so much about the red fox. Is it just Judy projecting her emotions, or could this actually be Nick? A new off the books investigation takes place. One that connects the underground, and reveals a much larger history of Nick's past; a dark story of crime and betrayal.
Who is/was Nick? A question many may find themselves asking.

But the reality wasn't as simple as that, especially toward a certain lone fox. Could he get his freedom from a certain bunny officer? Or maybe he would lose all of his hope and end his life before she could help him?
What Nick Wilde knew was that, life is never fair, especially toward a collared fox like him.
And there was no way for a bunny officer, named Judy Hopps, to genuinely help him. Just no way, impossible. Never.

They all watch as the humans lift one side of the tank, as just as they expected, dump the water into their bigger tank, but... no Mer falls in. They look up and peer into the smaller tank to see an extremely small Mer with a blue and red tail clutching at the tank and refusing to leave it, he’s got a variety of injuries over his whole body, luckily none look life threatening but still worrying.
They all watch him, and he watches them back, teeth bared in warning.
Klaus speaks up first, “is it just me or is he like. Really young. Young enough he should still be with his mother?” the thing is Klaus is right. He clearly isn’t as young as a hatchling but definitely shouldn’t have been separated from his mother.
