Summary
Will Graham is a producer on a Bachelor knock off reality TV show. Against his protests and better judgement, Dr. Hannibal Lecter is cast as the primary love interest on the show. Despite his many initial misgivings, Hannibal is a hit, and Will finds himself as drawn into the story Hannibal is creating as everyone watching at home. Everything is going well until Will becomes suspicious that he is the real object of Hannibal's affections, and all of a sudden contestants start to turn up murdered.
"Vena Amoris" is the (Mythical!) vein that runs from the ring finger to the heart; supposedly that is why we wear wedding rings on that finger.

One that did not run did not catch the eye, did not draw the sword down upon his back.He turns toward his lord's tent and sees the man stern faced in the entryway, fingers clenched in the oiled canvas flap that closes the tent, holding it aside. His lord senses Will's gaze on him, and turns, anger writ clear and decisive on his features.
Will had not forseen this.
He had not been asked to look.

Through the red light district, shined shoes find familiar thoroughfares, between buildings here, down a sidestreet there, until the genders of those on display blend as the neon against the ill-lit sky, a static grey neither light nor dark. And past those indiscernables, who call to him and beckon, to the bent road Soi Pratuchai. It is strangely appropriate that this portion of Patpong is curved - indeed, few enough in it could be called straight.
Hannibal is a lone predator hunting in the deep bowels of a very corrupt city. Will just wants to be found.
