Everyone was pissed at Parker, she knew that much (it wasn't hard to determine, not with the scathing lectures she recieved later). And, contrary to what the others might have believed, she did know what it was like to feel guilt. She was feeling guilty right then, especially towards Eliot, and crawls through his window to work things out.
(warning: contains spanking as a form of punishment between two consenting adults)

Summary
When Parker's recklessness endangers the team, they all agree she'll be punished. No one's really expecting spanking to come up as the punishment, though. And they're not expecting Parker to agree to it, or to ask Eliot to be the one to do it.
But somehow it feels like the most natural outcome.

Summary
"Earth was slated for destruction and its people had no idea.
The alien soon to be known as Bruce, whose true name was both unpronounceable to any human tongue and slightly beyond their comprehension, was a researcher. His job was to visit planets that had been deemed nuisances and report back on the presence of sentient life. If there was none, the planet would be demolished.
Humanity was just barely missing the bar to be considered sentient by the galactic standards. This was ridiculous to Bruce because he had already learned several of their languages, learned their names for their people and their planet and their galaxy. He had traveled over the world where humans lived abundantly and seen their constructions and tools, their complex cultures and communities. All of this he had communicated to his superiors, suggesting that they loosen their rigid standards to make an obvious exception, humans weren’t even that short, and had been struck down."
Or Bruce is an unhappy researcher with a fondness for younglings. While reviewing the soon to be doomed Earth, he finds some street kids who he decides to rescue. From their perspective, this is an abduction. By an alien.
