Riddle’s hand suddenly wrapped around his neck, fingers closing around his throat to press threateningly on his jugular. It was loose, no more than a brush of hot fingers on his neck, but Harry knew that that could change quickly.
Without warning, without any announcement, Riddle could strangle him. Squeeze and squeeze on his neck until all the capillaries on his face burst, until his mouth slackened with spittle and a dying moan.
The thought was frightening.

Summary
Too quickly was there a gloved hand around the string of his backpack, Batman tumbling into the harbor with him. Percy went to breathe, but immediately started coughing, the pollution of the waters weakening him as quickly as it strengthened him.
The vigilante hauled Percy out of the water, watching as the demigod fell flat on his back, breathing heavily. Batman was scowling down at him, water dripping from his cowl, his frown more pronounced than it was before Percy’s stunt. “Are you finished yet?”
“Well that was just embarrassing,” Percy muttered, reluctantly pushing himself to his knees. “Go on a week-long quest and win in a duel against my crazy cousin only to be immediately defeated by Batman.”

Summary
Percy Jackson-Wayne was taken in by Bruce Wayne after Batman rescued him from his abusive step father, Gabe. He grew up with two amazing older brothers, Dick and Jason. Anytime he got into trouble, his family was always there to bail him out. Monsters avoided Gotham (something about the crazy people), so his childhood was fairly peaceful.
Things changed when Jason died. His Dad shut him out and sent him off to boarding school. Soon, Monsters started showing up, and he only got in more trouble. Eventually he ended up at Yancy Academy and befriended a boy named Grover.
It all went to crap from there: Gods, Quests, Wars, Giants, even Tartarus.
Now, after years of fights and running, Percy just wants to come home for real. He misses his Dad, his brothers, his home. He literally went to Hell and back, now all he wants is to be with his family.

He decides to abandon them to his best and most vicious general plan; let the kids sort everything out. He just wants to stop sneezing, get home, and have some soup.
