A TMNT 2012 rewrite, with you, your OC or whoever you decide as the MC! A fix-it-fic of the Turtles and April's character development. The story is set in 2012, so there are some things that will be taken from the perspective of that time.
Life's been a real rollercoaster for you lately. School's a total nightmare, and things at home with mom are a mess ever since dad passed away. Just when you’re about to throw in the towel, you wake up in a hospital room, and to your shock, your dad’s right there with you, but nothing makes sense with the memories you keep.
Before you can even process this bizarre reunion, you and your dad are victims of an attempted kidnapping, you being rescued by 4 mutant turtle brothers, who offer to help you find your father. As you get to know them better, you find yourself drawn into their world while trying to understand what’s going on with your memories. Little do you know, there's more to your connection with these heroes than meets the eye.
Eventual MC x Donatello relationship. A remake of Donatello and April's original relationship dynamic, but slow burned and unrushed, so they can build a true friendship before discovering that either of them have feelings for the other.

Summary
You're an engineer who works for Ebott's best research facility in one of the labs; your lifelong dream after finding a journal on Mount Ebott when you were a kid. When you aren't in the lab being smart, you're gathering materials at the abandoned doll factory for the machine you're trying to build.
But one night, you meet a skeleton at the factory. Naturally, you lie about why you're there and say you're there to hunt ghosts. You befriend him and try to find a way to gather the materials while keeping up with that lie. But those lies catch up to you when you start to meet all the other skeletons.

It's safe to say that Sans is pretty fucking shocked when the machine in his basement flares and sucks him (and Papyrus... and apparently the rest of Snowdin's living residence) into a different basement, filled with other versions of himself and his brother. He's so shocked that he blinks and between one moment and the next they're all locked up. Heh, figures.
After a while of them semi-starving (filled with him making increasingly more violent threats). They are packed up and tossed on the doorstep of a confused young woman.
Confused but willing to feed and house them for no charge. So of course she and the whole town they'd been dropped off at are sorcerers, of course the runts who tossed them here would do it to others, of course he'd catch feeling like a fucking idiot.
There is a plus side to this though, well a plus side if he manages to win her over. And that is the look on the runt's skull if he ever dares to visit and realises that he'd handed his soulmate over to a 'human eating cannibal'.
Gotta love a silver lining.

It's never a question if a hero is strong, if a hero has an unbreakable will, if a hero is loyal.
But it can always be asked 'who' the hero is loyal to.
Because these heroes? They are loyal to a single girl. A beautiful, kind girl who came into their lives like a gentle flower falling from a tree; it was only by Lady Luck’s kindness that this girl landed directly on the path of these heroes.
That makes all the difference.
