The plan, as it stands, is rather simple.
Go back to the past, find a way to get an audience with Wen Ruohan, join the Wen sect and lay low there, and work from within to avert the oncoming bloodshed and insanity. Then, finally, at the end of it all, Wei Wuxian should be able to sit back and watch from afar as his friends and family and everyone he'd once failed to protect lived for at least as long as it took for Wei Wuxian's coreless body to give out.

Summary
Jiang Cheng wrote three times a year for over a decade and a half requesting that Lan Sizhui come and visit. Finally, at nineteen, arrived, having absolutely no clue why the sect leader would want him to come. Jiang Cheng showed him to his quarters, opened the doors, and said, "This was your father's room."
Suddenly, Lan Sizhui finds himself in the home of the father he'd forgotten, but surrounded by his things. With the relics left behind by a man shoved into shadows by an awful war, Sizhui has to figure out who his father was and why people refuse to say his name. Kane “Bruiser” Stark was a fairly decorated captain in the US Special Forces, taking charge of his very own military base at the age of twenty-five. How on Earth did that happen? He really had no idea half the time, it kind of just fell into his lap when the man in charge before him died, making sure to leave a note to the brass that Stark was the one he wanted in charge if something happened to him. He was now just twenty-nine and welcoming a group of British SAS soldiers into his base for a an undetermined amount of time, as requested by Kate Laswell. He had yet to compile a new, competent task force after what happened to his former team.
