Summary
Avery’s dorms had two people per room, and two rooms per suite. The suites were connected by a small bathroom. Four people per bathroom, with each pair separated by two doors with deadlocks on either side. Most of the time, the doors were kept deadlocked so the other suite could not access the room they did not live in. Some groups left doors unlocked and wandered from room to room. Avery had never been one of them, he’d never met his suite-mates, and rarely interacted with his roommate.
Not that any of that mattered, when most students had returned home for winter break. Even if he was close to the people he shared a space with, he would be alone. No one but him stayed for winter. Or at least that’s what he thought.
Or: Avery and Derek were two doors away the entire time. -

Summary
a series of fanfictions or just stories I've written to help me study for exams in collage. these are all unbetated and based entirely on whatever hyperfixation I'm currently involved with. they are dense with academic nomenclature and if they feel like an overtired collage student's last dreags of sanity as they struggle dsepratly not to fail classes through whatever means nessacary, that's cuz they are.
I'm also dyselxic so that dose not help.

Summary
I planned on writing something else. My current fics doc for Tron alone is over 70 pages long and I was planning on publishing the first chapter of a fun one that was going to be really long. BUT then, I had the worst time ever at a competition and I really need to categorize my emotions about that. Like good lord, I don’t want to get too far into that drama but
Let me just say: if it was physically hard for me to watch Scars because of my specific trauma of having a chronic illness and people I thought of as friends using it to hurt/betray me and the things/people I care about BEFORE the competition….
God I love tron uprising but sometimes this show really needs a trigger warning. Tron’s character as a person with a chronic illness is FAR too accurate to be comfortable to watch, I love it, and it’s one of the reasons I kinda wish there wasn't a ‘magic undo the damage’ button at the end of the show, because I really wanted to see him actually… learn to deal with it (because let’s be honest he wasn't)
Anyways, I’ve been rambling for way too long, this is mostly just to say. I’m an emotional wreck, and a dyslexic one without a beta reader at that, so my already uhhh rough writing is gonna be even rougher.- Words:

Summary
a series of one-shots and works in my Star Wars au. this is an Improve-It, not a Fix-It, so it's just a little brighter than the cannon timeline, expect tragedy and bitter-sweet moments. not everyone will survive, but things will be just a touch brighter. (except the sequel trilogy, it dose not exist)
this series will jump all over the place in the timeline but I'll try to keep it in order in the series. There will be Oc's and OC-dedicated stories, but I don't think they'll impact the 'cannon' stuff all that much except for background OCs that may be Mentioned. Summary
The slightly cold atmosphere of the ship feels like it’s been bumped up ten degrees, and Grace tugs at the collar of his shirt as he tries to flee the conversation, Rocky’s ball tumbling through the corridors behind him.
“Graa-aa-aa-ce.”
A deep, trembling sigh escapes Grace as he turns around and kneels in front of the xenonite ball to be eye to eye – figuratively – with his friend.
“Look, Rocky. I appreciate your enthusiasm. I do. But think about what you’re asking, man. I can’t let you vivisect me, for fudge’s sake.”

Or, Rocky is interested in learning about the inner workings of the human body, and Grace lets himself be his lab experiment. To no one's surprise, this deeply intimate interaction takes a turn.

I lived with this hunger long before the Hail Mary. This is nothing new. I’m fine.
Right up until Rocky asks another question.
“When last time you touch other human person skin, question?”
Oh. Oh no. “When I… a few days after I first woke up here.”
Rocky starts to relax for a split second, but then tightens when something occurs to him.
“Grace crewmates dead when you wake up. You said this, statement. You not even know your own name, remember nothing, see dead bodies, confirm?”
I nod, because if I open my mouth I will gag.
“When last time Grace touch ALIVE human person, question.”
I swallow thickly. I don’t answer aloud because I know Rocky can hear the hitch in my breath. My stomach churns with fresh bile. He senses my vital signs tick over into stress patterns and goes very, very still again.
“Grace. When last time, question.”
I clench my jaw so hard my temples ache, and beg him with my eyes to just stop.
“Grace. Please say not when… when Evil Stratt humans put you to sleep.”
I can taste grass.
