Falin had always been so reckless. Why would someone with a life so ephemeral throw their safety away so readily? Marcille didn't understand it. She didn't understand it at all.
There's no such thing as death in the dungeon, not really. Nothing is permanent. Damage can be undone, wounds can be healed, broken bones can be mended. The recently departed can be brought back to life, given their souls don't wander too far.
But one day, Falin Touden is going to die for good, and she's not going to come back. Marcille doesn't know how to live with that.

Yuji went still, watching as if in a trance. The flickering light illuminated Fushiguro’s pale hands as he crouched between the stone and the pit, casting a shadow on the wall behind him.
"When I first started seeing curses, I was terrified to fall asleep. Tsumiki made me play this dumb little game with her before going to bed." With a few flicks of his fingers, the animal on the wall began hopping up and down as Fushiguro worked his magic.
"It helped back then. Figured it could work for you, too."
or Yuji has trouble sleeping while on a mission, and Megumi tries his best to comfort him. Everything crumbles, as it turns out the nightmares are the least of their problems.
