Summary

After suffering inhumane treatment and conditions, she’s rescued by a team of Huntsmen-in-Training and their supervisor, Qrow. She is taken back to Beacon, and given a chance to live the life she’d never had. The defiance that was supposedly snuffed out reignites, and in time, she will learn who she really is.

So this is an idea that has plagued me for a while. It is probably the darkest premise I have worked with to date. Fair warning going in, this fic has plenty of unhappy moments. But I promise a happy ending. And everyone gets what's coming to them in the end.
