Gwyndolin was tired of how their father treated them and their siblings.
Late at night, they make up their mind to run off. They knew where to go - they would follow the Four Knights of Gwyn, knowing they were headed towards Oolacile. Surely one of them would know what to do now.
They weren't afraid of what those four knights were facing. It couldn't be worse than how Gwyn treated them.

In the Darkness, a voice whispers to them.
"Are you lost, child?" it coos, sounding almost mocking in its tone, and yet it felt like there was concern for them.
Gwyndolin cries, not knowing what their fate would be.
"Don't cry, child," the voice tries to calm, "it's alright. You are safe here."
The words seemed genuine.
"What is your name, child?"
"G-Gwyndolin."
"What is bothering you, Gwyndolin?"
