A what-if scenario where Runaan saw the importance of the egg and let go of trying to kill the king in turn for keeping the egg safe(even if the maybe cost of his arm) Rayla and the crew still go on the same adventure but Runaan’s crew is held captive at the castle where they must figure out how to go home safely and perhaps heal the relationship between the humans and magic a bit faster while they are at it
Or I really wanted a Runaan centered fic COUGH Ruthari COUGH everyone will get a happy ending!!1! (Ofc not without suffering)

“You never said anything,” Harris accuses, half-laughing, half-offended.
