Summary
Twenty-eight year old Zea Aldwir is young, energetic and eager. She just enrolled as sergeant within the Minrathous Police Corps and wants nothing more than to prove her worth to her cynic boss, Neve Gallus.
Fifty-six year old Emmrich Volkarin is highly experienced and renowned as a forensic pathologist. He prides himself in his eye for detail and his empathic perspective on the dead.
Their lives inadvertently intertwine when a hand is found in the slums of Minrathous. Zea tries her best to prove her worth to Neve Gallus. Emmrich falls smitten for Zea and struggles with their significant age difference.
The investigation takes them back to a past that was rather left forgotten.
