Summary
Hitoshi Shinsou was sitting in the 1-C common room lazily, eating Katsudon and watching the local news.
The local news didn’t cover anything exciting really, just the usual back and forth between the two reporters who debated which heroes would rise in the ranks due to their holiday charisma.
That was, until there was a small click, and the screen changed, mid-sentence.
“Hello civilians of Japan, we interrupt your normally scheduled program for, shall we say, a special episode. Our hosts today? The vanguard action squad.”

Summary
My name's Ozaki Yoshiyuki. I'm going to be a hero, I don't care about the biases against quirkless people, I've dealt with them my entire life. So what if I was made for the support course? I can't just make things to help heroes and sit on the sidelines, not when I know in my gut that I could do more. I have to help.
But no school would let a quirkless kid into the hero course. So, slowly but surely I've had to work towards accepting the fact that I will never become a hero.
That was the case at least, until U.A., the best hero school in the country got rid of that pesky rule.
And now, I'm about to walk into their entrance exam, support items ready for whatever they'll throw at me.
This is my chance, I'm not going to waste it.

Summary
When summer break hits, the hero course students all go off to special training camp of classified location to prepare and protect them from potential villain attacks. Unfortunately for Shinsou, they're not the only ones who caught the eye of the League of Villains - and he doesn't have a personal pro-hero protection detail.
From there, things only escalate - not just with the League of Villains, but also the burgeoning student-mentor relationship Shinsou has with Aizawa that he is so desperately trying not to screw up, and the rollercoaster of kidnapping, homelessness, and burgeoning family relationships that his day-to-day life is about to embark on. Shinsou never expected that his bid for the hero course would lead to all of this, but all he can really do is strap in and do his best.
