Summary
Steve McGarrett and Danny Williams can’t stand each other. They bicker like it’s a sport, throw barbs like it’s their job, and manage to save each other’s lives in between carguments and sarcastic banter. But when Danny is seriously injured and his ex-wife is overseas, Steve steps in to help—offering his home, his time, and maybe a little more of himself than he ever meant to.
What starts as an emergency arrangement slowly turns into routines, inside jokes, quiet moments on the lanai, and a sense of family neither of them saw coming. Because somewhere between the shouting matches and school drop-offs, between late-night beers and shared silences, something begins to shift—and it’s not just the furniture in Steve’s once-empty house.

Boromir has been trained in stewardship of a city at war. He knows how to set guard shifts, how to break through enemy lines, the weak points of a warg. From here to Rivendell, he knows his land, even the crumbling walls of Osgiliath.

Summary
Ulfric has faced many years since the Great War but there is a face that has hung in silence in his mind since then. All those years later, finding that face again would draw new memories to be made in the wake of the war he waged against the claws of the Empire. And the matter of other claws that would sink into the very flesh of Skyrim itself brought its own problems, along with a mysterious stranger. The path of the future was not certain. But the fresh return of that face in his mind brought questions. Ones he felt needed to be answered.

The First Talon was more intimidating than he last remembered. The old woman regarded him with a stern face, and Rook stood still and quiet, not wanting to make an ass of himself.
“And what do you want in return, Rook de Riva?” Caterina asked. “For the life of my grandson?”
Rook swallowed. What did he want? It was just the two of them here. Teia and Viago waited in the house while Rook met with Caterina in her garden. There was no outside influence to guide him, and Rook had no choice but to follow his instincts.
“I want to restore Viago as Second Talon,” he replied.
