“Oh, that’s easy.” His hand twisted a knob, and the notes came out sharper. “It is infected—Petrova Line and everything.”
In Grace's opinion, dreaming about time traveling is no excuse for getting out of practice with his Eridian. To the rest of the Petrova Taskforce, it seems a bit odd that their resident Astrophage expert has suddenly taken to carrying a keyboard around and playing it whenever he speaks. Eva Stratt resolves to figure out what is going on.

“Sam!” Lena says, scandalized. “How do you know that?”
“Which thing?” Sam says, a sly smile on her face and the mischief evident in her voice. “And it looks to me like you’ve got a solution right in front of you, Lena.”
At that, Lena is confused. Sure, she’s got plenty of problems right now, but she doesn’t know what Kara has to do with any of that. “What?”
“Well, I figure you’ll need a driver to work with if you want to get back into things…” Sam says, gesturing vaguely with her fork.

Lena and Lex Luthor are on their way to becoming national champions of the American Rally Association, but things quickly fall apart following a major accident. Lena distances herself from Lex as he faces criminal charges, and she's faced with the prospect of retiring.
With Kara's major sponsors dropping out left and right, funds thin out quickly and she’s forced to let go of the sport she's loved for years, but Lena proposes an idea of a partnership that may very well rocket them towards the success they’ve both been racing after.
