“There isn’t a ‘we’ Shoto.” Nighteye confessed. “There is only one that can do the job; the reasons for this are many but the specific one is that only one person is capable of going back in time.”
Nighteye turned his gaze towards Kei, and his stomach dropped.

Summary
Tim always heard that you should never meet your heroes.
Apparently, they would almost always disappoint you.
But, Tim always thought that his hero was the exception.
Tim remembered a time when he would've been ecstatic to be in the presence of Jason Todd. But, that was before.
Jason Todd, the version Tim admired at least, was dead.
In his place was the Red Hood.
And, if anyone knew anything about the Red Hood, it’s that he hated the newest Robin with every fiber of his being.
These days, the very thought of having to be in his very presence would send Tim spiraling. Not that he would ever tell that to Dick, or God forbid Bruce. The pair wouldn't admit it, well Dick might actually, but they desperately wanted Jason to come back into the family.
Both put up a front like they hated the Red Hood, but Tim is more perceptive than they give him credit for.
But that’s okay.
Tim knows that he is an afterthought.
A replacement.

“Morning,” Geto greeted, picking up a spray bottle from under the counter. An idea had suddenly formed.
A truly magical one.
“Today I think I want-” Sunglasses started.
“Here’s the deal,” Geto deadpanned. “You say or do something stuipd, and that includes pulling out fully made Starbucks drinks from your bag, I am going to spray you with water, capiche?”
Sunglasses froze in his tracks and seemed to study him for a minute. Although, Geto couldn’t be sure due to his obscured eyes.
“Like…. a cat?” Sunglasses questioned with a chuckle. He lowered his sunglasses briefly, his piercing icy eyes full of mirth.
“Just like a cat.”
The two stared each other down in silence for a beat.
“What if I pulled out a deconstructed Starbucks drink?”
Oh, he was going to kill him. Full on premeditation and everything!

Summary
Kaeya knew three simple facts in life.
One, he was from a place called Khaenri’ah. Some might call it his home, not that those that would were alive anymore to lay claim to him, but Kaeya did not consider that place as such. He never did, even before he ended up on his father’s Master Crepus’s doorstep. After all, how could a Godless land full of fire and brimstone be anything other than a living hell?
Two, he lived in Mondstadt now. This had been true for more of Kaeya’s life than it hadn’t. Yet, he knew he didn’t truly belong here despite his unwavering loyalty he felt towards the nation. He didn’t belong anywhere, not anymore, and especially not after that night. His grip on his pen tightened unconsciously and a knot formed in his throat as he tried to suppress the memory. Now wasn’t the time to get lost in another one of his ‘episodes’. He shook his head, willing the painful thought and memories to the back of his mind. The third and final fact was simple. One so intricately imbedded in his mind he knew he would never be able to forget it, even in death.
Diluc Ragnvindr hated him.
