Summary
In this universe some people are born with nine lives, like a cat. Bond is one of them, he had always suspected so, but now faced with death and on his last life, James Bond is forced to confront mortality and choose a life he would not be regretful of leaving behind and in the process Q gains another cat in form of one James Bond.

This is the universe in which "worth staying for" is set. Basically Bond had nine lives (puss in boots2 reference) and when he meets death he is on his 9th life, he stops running from life, stops diving head first into danger and retires because he is old and somehow survived a missile attack (for more lore do read Worth staying for)
I realised that there is so much more i could do with this universe, so as and when motivation and plot bunnies come to me I'll add parts to it which can be read on their own but set in this universe.- Words:
