Maxmilian Fairfax checked his watch for the tenth time in as many minutes. Something was wrong. The bride and groom had nearly reached the end of the aisle. Soon they would be saying their vows. Where was Calico? Where was the gunshot that would remove the thorn in his side that was his eldest son? Arin should have been bleeding out on the carpet already, a neat entry wound punched through his heart. Maxmilian's eyes flicked across the crowd and peered at the balconies above, desperately looking for a sign of the purple assassin. Was she hidden in a shadowy corner somewhere? Disguised as one of the attendees, perhaps?
Sixty miles away in a secluded Long Island chateau, a sphynx cat named Ava meowed contentedly to herself as she curled up against her owner's snoring form. Saturdays were for sleeping in.

Original title because I think it's funny: I said I wouldn't do this but GOD am I weak
When the Knight is about to fight the Radiance inside the Hollow Knight's mind, they feel pulled from their siblings dream and into someone else's. The Godseeker had felt our favourite little bug's opponent and did what she could to ensure she wouldn't miss the battle. This intervention saves both Knights' physical forms from being torn apart during the battle.
A weird AU I somehow came up with where Godseeker intervenes in the original Radiance battle and somehow conveniently saves the vessels from destroying their physical bodies in the process. Also Hornet wakes up before the battle is over and immediately leaves her siblings to go sulk somewhere

Right at the end of the bloodsoaked path, unable to suppress a guilt gnawing at them from within, Clover turns their gun on the yellow flower a touch early.
The gunslinger fights Flowey with an equal level of Determination. The save file is damaged in the crossfire, and the save system is destroyed.The data corruption sends Clover through the void, all the way back to just outside Mt. Ebott, and also ages the gunslinger as well as the world itself by ten years.
While in the void, he sees fragments of events in the other routes, and a vision of a person he's never met before trapped in a certain laboratory.Burdened by the weight of his sins from his last journey, and armed with a vastly more mature body and mind, the fully grown cowboy decides he has to do things differently this time.

The ship began to rumble with a great creaking noise and his cries faded into gasping hiccups. His eyes were very heavy all of the sudden. He sniffled and wiped his nose. It was easy to fall asleep. He would find his family when he woke up.
(Tommy was asleep in his chair against the window as the ship whirred and churned noisily into space, so he missed this moment: When the surface of Kasheu—slowly shrinking behind them into the starry darkness—bubbled, hissed, cracked, and the whole planet cracked in two, then four, then eight, then a million tiny pieces flung into the darkness. It took one whole minute for the sound to reach the ship, and the noise was so loud it reverberated the metal walls. Tommy didn’t wake up.)

Also, the title doesn't mean anything important, I just chose it because it revolves around the two shortest characters in the group.
