The voice that spoke back was crackling and hoarse. If he weren’t able to see the man in front of him, he might’ve not believed it to be his. “Get out.”
“It won’t work.” Owen crouched near the door to the cell. The place smelled of silver and grime, making him wrinkle his nose. The thin bars of the cell made it easy for him to see the doctor. “It takes more than that scrape to kill a vampire.”
Legundo didn’t look his way. “I said get out.”
“Protective of your prison, Doctor?” He pulled a bottle of crimson out of his pocket, offering it through the bars. “Starvation won’t kill you either.”

AU where Scott found Legs after the bite in session 4 and turned him. Owen hears that Legs has locked himself in the cell in town and goes to bring him to the castle. He tells himself he just wants the advantage of taking the town's doctor, but why is he so concerned for the new fledglings wellbeing?

Summary
Louis remembered screams, loud, piercing, and broken. He remembered lights of orange and yellow, he remembered how they danced in his vision, how they enveloped him in warmth.
But that warmth never stopped growing.
Flames. He was being burned to the bone.
Something in his brain finally snapped awake. He felt a heavy weight on his chest as layers of dirt and soil kept him buried, keeping him from escaping.
He took a clawed hand to the space above him and began to dig, if he kept going he had to find his way back, right?
He needed to get back, back to his town. Owen was still there with the townsfolk, enduring the same cruel fate as he had.
OR
Louis is alive but instead of finding Owen and his angry town, it's been 200 years and a new group has entered Oakhurst to find a curse that won't let them go and a monster roaming the forest beyond town walls.
So he pretends to be human, in hopes of leaving to find his love, or at least a new life. -

Taking place right after episode 5, Owen's grief has been growing more severe in the recent nights. Avid's pain and denial of his new conditions are slowly driving him near madness. Both seem to seek the company of Legundo for a place of tranquility, but he isn't in the best head space either. Especially when an odd specter keeps reappearing in his dreams, claiming to be the one Owen confided about. The last mayor of Oakhurst, Louis. If Legundo lets his spirit take hold of him, Owen could be calmed, and Avid could be eased into this new life. But there's risk. Could opening the door for one entity let another in without his knowledge? (UPDATE: I do not support Avid the creator, I try to separate character from creator but v!Avid will still be minimized in the story) -

After all, it's not like he's going to become attached.

The man stares at his empty hand, then up at the person standing a few feet away.
Owen holds his axe loosely, but Louis knows how to read every movement, every twitch, every stillness of his body. If Sausage, or Martyn or Réy or anyone else, takes even a single wrong step, he’ll be on the ground within a moment, bleeding out from the gaping wound where his jaw used to be.
Owen wouldn’t even have to use his axe for it. He would rip out Sausage’s throat with his teeth if he needed to, to hell with whatever consequences would await him.
The last time Louis had seen him like this…
He hopes it won’t come to that. Blood takes so long to remove from under one’s nails. To force out of one’s mind."alternatively;

The event was getting dull fast. Scott had only decided on attending to get caught up on the latest gossip about the rest of the vampire elite, but everyone was being close lipped.
He's sure it has something to do with Lord Holden's mopey attitude. The man was the one hosting the event, but he looks like he would rather be anywhere else. Scott has no interest in Lord Holden or whatever is causing his bad mood, but his eyes keep straying over to him regardless. Or rather, over to the human trailing behind him.

Once in the basement, the torchlight revealed more of the chamber.
In one corner lay several weathered velvet cushions, their black fabric faded and worn with age. When he lifted one, he realized it had once been exquisitely crafted, embroidered with golden thread.
As he shifted the cushion aside, he caught sight of wavy chestnut hair beneath a weathered brown cloak.
Then the torchlight flickered. And reflected off a gleaming fang.Avid’s heart jumped. Instantly dropping the pillow, he hurled the torch across the room at the monster without a second thought. A sharp hiss sounded behind him as he leapt toward the stairs.
Panicked, he scrambled up the broken staircase in an attempt to escape the vampire and somehow managed to reach the first floor. Loose stones and gravel shifted beneath his feet, and he stumbled, fumbling…
…
A crack split the wall and spread down through the staircase. Stones and chunks of brick came crashing down as the unstable structure collapsed around him.

I lowkey kinda just wrote and went with the vibes so if it’s OOC I’m very sorry this is my first time writing TF!Legs—
Better summary: Doc expects that death will be the end to his story.
It isn’t.
Instead, he wakes in a world not his own, with faces both familiar and unfamiliar, but those he knows are not the ones who know him. He now must either find a way to return to Oakhurst, or decide if he may still be worth keeping around in this new place.
