    Tsumugi lied about a lot of things over the course of the game, and she lied even more during the final case.

    Instead of having to pick up the pieces of their new lives as infamous celebrities that took down the largest media empire on the planet... The Survivor Trio is having to deal with quite the opposite.

    No one in the outside world that they've run into has heard of Danganronpa, or if they have, they won't admit to it. It's certainly not something broadcast all over the world.

    Instead, they're now having to deal with a world in which almost everyone considers their story too ridiculous to believe. Something clearly happened over the last three weeks, but talking, psychopathic teddy bears? Isn't that a bridge too far?

    This is a series of smaller stories that I write every so often about the struggles that I think the Survivor Trio (Maki Harukawa, Himiko Yumeno, and Shuichi Saihara) Would have returning to society following the end of Danganronpa V3. I plan on uploading a few I already wrote, and adding to it whenever the mood strikes. It was originally called Survivor Trio One-Shots, but I thought a few of these ideas could use a little expansion.

    “Puhuhu. I see how it is...” Monokuma brings his paws to his two-toned mouth. “The blackened has no need for the First Blood Perk. They’d rather do a class tri—”

    “It was me.”

    Kaede’s blood chills. Words leave her, and her heart falls silent.

    Monokuma blinks. “Huh?” He along with the Monokubs, Kaede, and her classmates, all turn to the voice.

    “Sh-Shuichi...?!” whispers Kaede. “What are you—"

    “It was me,” Shuichi says again, shifting on the spot. “I did it. I uh... I killed Rantaro...”

    The library is silent for a few moments.

    Then all hell breaks loose.

    Shuichi claims the First Blood Perk in Kaede's place, and in doing so, changes the entire course of the Killing Game. Different choices are made, new dynamics form, and, as per the rules, only two survivors can emerge from the world stained red with reality, and pink with delusion.
