“What does your name mean?”
It startles him out of his perhaps too-admiring musings.
“…Obi-wan Kenobi?” He checks.
She raises an eyebrow. “Do you have another name?”Infinite sadness and inexhaustible resilience.

Summary
"'You are so good at protecting others, my dear, that you often forget to look after yourself.' Kenobi hesitates, then briefly, briefly enough that Cody thinks he has imagined it, squeezes Cody’s shoulder. 'I am not keen to leave you in the ice.'"
Or: When a mission to a snow-and-ice-covered planet goes wrong, Cody and Obi-Wan are forced to flee across treacherous terrain with only each other for warmth. Along the way, they confront all the things they have been avoiding -- including their feelings.

Summary
"You're dead."
Kote’s eyes met Obi-Wan’s. He saw, in slow motion, what abject panic looked like on the Jedi’s face. He’d never seen that expression before. It felt intimate, a side that Cody had never been allowed to see. No one had.
Then, Obi-Wan relaxed into Kote’s grip on his cape, his head tilting minutely back against the wall. And he leaned, pressing his throat ever so gently towards the blade, his expression open and wondering and accepting.
“Cody…” he breathed, and he was smiling, crookedly and so wide that it must have hurt.
Kote could have pressed the blade all the way home in that moment.

Summary
"It clicks in Cody’s mind: Halcard wants attention. He wants a passive audience, and Kenobi and the other diplomats won’t give it to him. He wants to feel more powerful than the systems he exists within. In his silence, Cody has become perfect for Halcard’s musings."
When a visiting diplomat takes an interest in Cody, Cody courts his attention to gain political advantage — even while Cody navigates growing romantic tension with Obi-Wan. As the diplomat's motivations grow sinister, Cody finds his life, selfhood, and connection with Obi-Wan in hanging in the balance.

Summary
“Across bitter cold and ice,” Kenobi said. “Are you ready for that, Commander?”
His voice was low and deep; Cody shivered as if he were already in the tundra. In response, Cody managed to say, “Quite ready. I’m sure we’ll find ways to keep warm.”
__On a strange and unfamiliar planet, Cody finds himself stuck in a time loop where every cycle results in Obi-Wan's death.
