Hee-Joo was in her room when her phone rang, it was a call from her husband. Sa-eon had to leave the city for work and wouldn’t be back for another couple of days. Seeing his name on the screen, Hee-Joo felt a wave of nervousness and excitement flood through her. Despite being married for three years, it had only been a few days since they confessed their feelings for each other. For her, their communication was new and brought immense happiness. Not only that, but every time she saw his name or face, she was reminded of that night—the kiss they shared, the passion her husband (she still couldn’t believe she could think of Sa-eon that way and that it truly meant something this time) expressed, and the beautiful words they exchanged. These memories always made her knees a bit weak.
