Summary
In a world that twists the knotting of the Omegaverse with something more sadistic: barbs, Will is an Alpha whose empathy for the Omega burden of pain alienates him from his Alpha peers and his natural urges.
Hannibal is an Omega who's refused to breed not because he's afraid of the pain but because secretly he knows he’d lose himself to it, protected by the privilege of the Lecter fortune, which won't be shared with an unpledged Alpha and risks going to his first Alpha heir.

Summary
“Will,” Jack Crawford growls down the line, “Tell me Hannibal Lecter never confided in you that he was an Omega.”
“Oh, shit.”
“Oh, shit,” Jack agrees.
They’ve come a long way from the old days, where Omegas in heat would slaughter anyone who stood between them and their chosen Alpha. Where Omegas would fight each other to the death in order to claim their prize, and some Alphas died of rut exhaustion or from injuries sustained from a too-eager Omega. Now, Omegas temper their heats with stabilizing pills and Alphas have a say in who they breed. But there would have been no stabilizing pills provided to an incarcerated Beta.

Summary
After everything, once they settled down, they could finally start the family they'd always wanted.
By nature, Omegan hormones work in a very particular way. Evolution decided that mothers needed to be able to protect their young on their own, in the event that their Alpha wasn't present. The result is that, once the Omega has given birth, they become extremely protective over their pups.
Their pup recently came into the world, and Will is not faring too well with the feral Omega he now lives with who considers anything and everything a threat to their newborn. Of course, he handles it anything but well.
