Tim Drake is not "Timothy Drake"They are both personas, a front to prevent people from looking at whats really under the surface. But sooner or later Tim should have known Gotham being a city of secrets, nothing stays buried forever. Especially not when the bats get involved with their trashy next door neighbor whose behavior seems more and more contradictory.
Tim had saved them all more times than he could count, maybe this time they could return the favor.

Jason is fourteen and smiling, showing off his braces. His curls are full and light, no white to be seen, and they seem healthier than they ever were after his dip in the Pit. His cheeks and chin still have that leftover bit of acne. His arms are wrapped around Dick, holding him close, mashing the side of his face against the horrible denim jacket the man is wearing. They’re someplace cold judging by the heavy jacket draped across Jason’s shoulders in the picture but for the life of him, he can’t remember.
This is bad. This is so so bad. He's so fucked.
Or — Jason gets thrown back into his fifteen year old body, a month before he dies, and decides he wants to do things differently this time. He finds Tim in the meantime and their relationship takes on a new form that he never thought possible before.

Immediately he wanted to cover his face with his hands, to hide away in his room and never come out. The plan was terrible, the embarrassment was cruciating, the judgment unfair.
“I’m sorry I involved my own relationship drama into a mission,” Tim said, like that could over it up, “It wasn’t meant to happen like that-”
“Stop.”
Tim stopped. Time stopped. Everything in the entire fucking universe stopped.
Bruce got up from his chair, looking down on them.
“Are you trying to patch things by pretending to date Jason?” Behind Bruce’s judgemental voice was the barest hint of bemusement.
“I-”
What could he say? Wasn’t that what he was doing? Except he wasn’t, he was also kind of dating Jason for real.
