Ah, straight to the point I see.
Nicole stared at the wall without making it seem like she was avoiding eye contact. Ever since senior year started, Jecka would dig this conversation back up every couple months when the gossip topics died out. Every time Nicole would give her different variations of the same empty response. Just hang around until there’s nothing else to do. It was the truth anyways, and each and every time without fail, Jecka would end that conversation unsatisfied.
