Qiqi had been the pinnacle of his renewed lease on life, the turning point that had agitated the waters of stagnation within his psyche. It was serendipity that brought them together, two pieces in the tapestry of eternity that had been woven since the beginning of time.
The moment that he had first come across Qiqi picking violetgrass in the mountains one fateful afternoon was one that Baizhu would never forget. From the instant he laid his eyes on the little jiangshi, holding onto her hat so as not to let her precious talismans blow away in the midsummer breeze, he had felt a strong connection to her.

Bennett knew that he could handle the sensation of getting a new scar, but he wasn’t as much of a sucker for pain as Ajax was. He didn’t even know if he would have it in him to give him one in kind. But those alluring words were so tantalising, the idea so enticing, that he felt compelled to accept. “Yes - mark me as your own. Make me yours, Ajax.” Bennett didn’t expect his tone to be as desperate as it was, his words breathy and quick, uttered all at once. There was no critical thinking, no time to weigh the pros and cons; there was only desire, lust, and passion, and the need to be claimed by Ajax.

Valjean was just happy to get his way. It wasn’t completely selfish; he was helping Javert get out of his comfort zone. He wanted Javert to remember that he was human, that he could have interests outside of his job. He was more than his duty to the law, and it was evident in the way that he so passionately sang love songs. Javert had a rather mechanical view of humans as a whole, and art was what brought life to an otherwise-lifeless machine.

From this position, it was easy for Keicho to lean in and gently stroke Yuuya’s cheek. A tenderness that had not exactly been shown before now, and even still, it was fleeting. His hand disappeared as quickly as it appeared, and Yuuya could still feel the ghost of the contact on his face. Had he been able to move, he would have pulled Keicho’s hand right back against his tear-stained cheek, but all he could do was struggle, the rope cutting into his wrists with every attempt to break free. Yuuya was desperate and aching, but that barrage to his senses never seemed to cease.

What did he think was going to happen? That it wouldn’t devolve into this? At least Avdol was generous enough to let him swallow this time, allowing him to catch his breath. A smudge of whipped cream still rested at the corner of his mouth, but that was the last thing on his mind. “Y-you want me to stuff my face so that you’ll have more to fondle!” Polnareff stammered, at last coming to the realisation that this was exactly what Avdol was hoping would happen.
