Hey eveyone! SwirledLemon here! Starting up a new series! This is the first book in my new The Visionless series, but it is NOT in chronological order. You can read these in any order you'd like ^^This story takes place after Luna IV, which as I am writing, has not come out yet. So if anything is inaccurate, then I sincerely apologise.
The new character (whom I shall introduce in the story itself) has been in my mind for a while now, since I started playing genshin actually (2024). I did not take any inspiration off of any current characters, as they literally didn't exist when I made him. Some bits have been tweaked and twisted, but other than that, he's remained unchanged for now.

“Where to?” the driver pulled up Google Maps, craning his neck to look at the teens.
“Uh…” Hu Tao swallowed, glancing around the car to her companions.
“Not it!” everyone but Razor yelled, jumping in their seats before erupting into laughter.
“I still don’t understand that game,” Razor sighed, grasping Bennett’s hand. “We’re going to the Scientology Pacific Area Command Base.”
The driver stared at Razor in incomprehensible emotion. “You guys are speed runners?” he asked, “Have you done it before?”
Xingqiu’s grin grew edges, “Oh, but of course we have!”

Summary
Venti, after 500 years had finally succumbed to the slow but poison-like corruption gained from defeating Durin. Coincidentally, the archons had just finally finished the archon war at that point of the defeat of the tainted dragon, making the corruption be pushed aside as an issue to be dealt with later to care and nurture Mondstat.
Well, in current day Teyvat, this neglect led to absolute ruin. Mondstat was in shambles, its freedom had been turned into confinement. Gentle breezes have turned into harsh winds that prevent anyone from entering and exiting.
So, Celestia sent one of the shades to “help.”
Or
Venti becomes corrupted after neglecting it for 500 years and one of the shades sends Venti back to pre-corruption (aka the archon war) but some of the effects still linger.
