"You have no idea what you're asking for," Rocky snarls as he watches Grace slowly start to crawl back. There's a small pool of liquid forming beneath him and Rocky wants to eat him alive.
"Yes, I do," Grace whines breathlessly. "Please, Rocky. Please, alpha."
Rocky inhales sharply.
"Run," he says.
"W... What?"
"I said run," Rocky growls.
Grace squeals and takes off.
Rocky gives chase.

Grace is an excellent scientist, no matter what his colleagues back on Erid might have said once.
As such, he knows that with the right methods and experimentation, he can convince Rocky that they belong together.
He's desperate for it.

Summary

Traits that make it possible for him and Rocky (and eventually, Adrian) to get closer than any of them ever thought they would be while the three of them start a life together on Erid.
